{Review} OraMD all natural teeth cleaner

I used to be a couponer, and I know many of you were too - or still are. Remember all the toothpaste we could get for free until a certain drug-store changed their rebate program? Yeh. A few years ago I had over 100 tubes stockpiled, I mean they were free right? We are *still* using them. I've even given a lot away, but I think they just re-spawn under that bathroom cabinet. I've known about the dangers of some of the ingredients in toothpaste for years but... they.were.free. and I'd not decided on a good alternative.

Until now... OraMD is an easy 4 step oral hygiene program using only Essentail Oils. EOs have been getting rave reviews in general lately for everything from helping keep the common cold at bay to cleaning your kitchen. They are fabulous for many many things - but just because they are natural please do not assume they are harmless. EOs are very potent and should be used only as directioned - and please head any warnings or contraindicators you find. Do your homework.

OraMD is made from Almond Oil, Spearmint Oil, and Peppermint Oil. That's it. :) You only use 2-5 drops on your toothbrush, morning and night, brush brush brush, spit, rinse and you're done. No foaming, no toxins! I don't know about you, but I really dislike the foaming action of regular toothpaste. ick. And the white spots it leaves in the sink? more ick. Well, ick no more people!

OraMD is more than a teeth-cleaner. You know that feeling when you just come home from the dentist for a cleaning? All nice and smooth toofers? OraMD gave my teeth that feeling! It is lovely. Now, I'm not a fan of spearmint or peppermint so 2 drops at first was pretty hot - and it would be easier to get *just* 2 drops onto the toothbrush if it had an actual dropper instead of the "shaker top" that many EO bottles have. BUT I've been using it for about a week and it's not so hot any more, and really quite pleasant, and I've gotten the hang of only shaking out the 2-3 drops {by just kind of hitting the bottle gentle on the bristles of the brush}. I really really love it!

And I love that it has a smaller footprint than a big tube of toothpaste;
Toothpaste - recycleable cardboard box, un-recycleable tube. Lasts about a month or so.
OraMD - Small reusable/recycleable shipping box, small glass recycleable jar. Lasts... a long time. lol. Certainly more than a month.

Oh and the 4 step thing I mentioned above?
1. Brush 2x a day.
2. floss.
3. Use OraMD as a mouthwash 2x a day. Put 2-5 drops into an oz. of water. Swish, gargle, rinse.
4. Refresh as needed. Put 2-5 drops on the tip of tongue to coat the gum line, teeth and mouth to kill bacteria and keep breath fresh.

Cool huh? That's the thing with many Essentail Oils, and Peppermint Oil in particular... it kills 22 harmful types of bacteria that lead to gum disease and other oral health problems, and The Spearmint Oil has potent anti-inflammatory properties. This equals a knock-out system for a healthy mouth.

OraMD is safe for children 3+. BUT do not use the product if there are allergies to nuts, spearmint, or peppermint present, or if you are a nursing or pregnant mama. You can also use this product in an irrigator - just read the direction sheet that comes with your bottle.

If you ever have any questions about the product they have live 24/7 customer support, and low shipping rates. {I love companies that don't heavily ding you on shipping!}

Oh, and the product is Vegan, non-GMO, not tested on animals, and comes with a One Year, 100% Money Back Guarantee, no questions asked.
