Now I'm not a make up junkie, in fact I rarely wear any make-up at all, but when Mia Mirau asked me to review some of their line - of course I said sure! Mia Mariu has been all.over the web'verse lately so you've probably heard of them. Mia Mariu is a Dallas based health and beauty social selling company - if you are interested in finding out about the opportunities they have you can find out more on their Be an Advisor page.
I wasn't sure what to expect from the line, but I didn't find it difficult at all to choose my colors, using their color choosing webpage.
I used to wear a powder make-up so I choose some basics:
Primer - Prepares the skin for any of the Mia foundations & extends their wear. Contains antioxidants to protect skin.
Concealer- Covers imperfections like dark spots, redness, and blemishes evenly. Under eye circles anyone? lol
Loose Powder Foundation - Safe for sensitive skin, non-pore clogging. Blends into skin easily & smoothly.
My face is dry where others seem to be oily {that "T Zone"}, and I have some redness/blotchy-ness that, I'm told, is from taking bcp's for many many years {I'm 40 something} so my skin isn't perfect. But since breaking up with make-up years ago I've not had the "do you have Chicken Pox?" breakout parties that I used to have on my face. I'll report back on that later after using Mia Mariu for a while.
First impressions is great! The containers are stylish {black & red}, and they shipped quickly.
Primer - LOVE! Makes my face feel nice & smooth, & makes a great base for the foundation.
Concealer - Did a great job covering the blotchy areas & redness, & was a nice base for the powder foundation; nice and creamy smooth.
Powder Foundation - Did a great job evenly covering without looking like a mask. Nice natural-looking coverage and silky smooth feel.
