Educational Alphabet Flashcards make learning fun

Flashcards have been used as a learning aid probably forever. They are a simple concept that helps us retain information and they work, and can even be fun! I was sent this box of School Zone Alphabet Flashcards to review for Educational Toys Planet {they have all kinds of cool toys - take a look}.

These cards are targeted for children ages 3, 4, and  5 - my granddaughters are just turned 1 year, and 5 years having just started Kindergarten. They both love the cards! The little one loves the colorful images and carried around her favorite {D for doll} for quite awhile. 5 year old Mady wanted to play school with them of course. :) There is a card included that has some ideas and instruction for games you can play with your child also, so they don't always have to be playing school. lol.

Just having these around for them to pick up and look over, maybe a comment from you here and there, would be a great intro to the alphabet, letter sounds, and how the two connect! The cards themselves are printed on sturdy stock and, as mentioned, are nicely illustrated.

These cards have been something the girls pull out of the play room on a regular basis - now if I could just get them to put them back into the box when they are done with them! lol.

{my apologies on the photo quality - I gave my camera to my mom to use for awhile, and my phone cam has a bit of a lag time that doesn't go well with moving children}

Thanks to Educational Toy Planet for the opportunity to review the School Zone Alphabet Flashcards!

  3. Even though they say 3+, I'm sure my 2 1/2 year old would benefit from these! I love the images and they seem like they are the perfect size for little hands. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
